“ I came in here twice over the weekend for an evening meal and they did not disappoint. There was plenty to choose from on the menu at a reasonable price. The service was quick and the staff were polite and friendly. There was plenty of tables inside the pub, including the extention, which is a bonus. ”
“ Lovely homemade food and great service! Would definitely come back :) ”
“ Called in for a few beers, the barman called “Storm” was super helpful telling us about the locality & things to do. We felt so welcome we perused the menu & decided to eat here. I had the chicken burger & the wife had lasagne. We had a couple more beers & the food arrived super quick & piping hot. Can’t remember the exact price but it was fairly priced & the lager was cold & crisp. Recommended ”
“ Right in the centre of the village with s lovely bar large dining room and huge outside space, full of tables. Worried about wait for good but it came within 15 minutes as promised and was all excellent. Fish and chips and beef pie particularly good. Lovely, helpful staff who were on their A Game in such a busy spot. Loved it. Would go again ”
“ Beautifully restored old inn with a fabulous vaulted dining room built on the back which is open to the beer garden beyond. Bit of a grumpy barman...but the rest of the staff were excellent and enthusiastic. Food choices were very comprehensive....something for everyone.....including several vegetarian choices which is the exception in most restaurants. Speedy service despite being busy, excellent food....didnt get to pudding as mains was very filling....coffees very good. ”
“ We asked a young girl , think her name was Leonie for recommendation of food to eat. She was so informative and polite. This is a lovely place to eat. Great beer garden too. ”
